ALL-WOMEN FREEDIVING COURSES

Our all-female freediving taster experience was created to open up the world of freediving to more women.

We at Immersia recognise that ocean confidence is a journey for most people. This course is designed to give you a glimpse of what freediving feels like and allows you to to explore your capabilities in a super controlled and relaxed environment.

During this course you’ll:

  • discover the beauty of being weightless in the water

  • learn to move smoothly and confidently in the water

  • understand how to find confidence in the ocean

  • explore the relaxing side of breath-holding

  • learn about your body’s innate physical capability

  • make a bunch of new female friends to share your new activity with

In a small group of no more than 8 women you will:

  • discover the beauty of being weightless in the water

  • learn to move smoothly and confidently in the water

  • understand how to find confidence in the ocean

  • explore the relaxing side of breath-holding

  • learn about your body’s innate physical capability

  • make a bunch of new female friends to share your new activity with

Freediving Taster Experience (4 Hours)

What’s included

  • 2hr of theory, breathwork and meditation

  • 1.5hr in shallow water, learning and practising freediving techniques.

  • All your freediving gear EXCEPT your wetsuit

  • Light snacks

NOT INCLUDED

Pre-Requisites

You need to be able to swim 200m unassisted. Otherwise, you do not need any experience. This activity is friendly for total beginners!

What to Bring

  • Your own wetsuit, or a rented wetsuit. If you don't own a wetsuit, we recommend renting a 5 or 7mm scuba wetsuit from Dive Centre Bondi or a surfing wetsuit from Let's Go Surfing

  • Water

  • Sunscreen and Hat

  • Towel

  • Swimsuit

  • Sunglasses, hat and any other sun protection
